Nilo Studios announced the release of the game through Twitter on June 17, 2016, delaying it by two weeks prior to this. For Europe, the hurdle lies in getting PEGI rating. PEGI rating, requires "participation in an online training course, submission of materials and builds, and then waiting for the materials to be reviewed" DualShockers reported.

This is what Nilo Studios had to say about the release:

There is not much information about the sci-fi thriller from Nilo Studios. "Asemblance" being a game where the player is guided by a narrative, nothing much can be presumed to be real or fake.

"Asemblance" begins around building the experimental memory machine. The systematic logic keeps you trapped; you can escape or go deeper by solving puzzles presented by it. The progress of the game will depend on how you look into the system, and how you solve the puzzles.

The game is said to be inspired by "The Twilight Zone" and "The X-Files", two Tv series that were highly popular. It is an episodic game of planned series, "Asemblance" gameplay is not quite revealed.

Nilo Studios is comparatively a new entity dealing in games from last year. The company was formed by Niles Sankey. Sankey is an ex-Bungie developer, worked on games like "Halo 3" and "Destiny". While these games were also quite popular, the developer is expected to deliver something unique to the games, this time.

Sankey is answering a lot of questions of the gamers since the launch of the game was announced. The memory driven game will also be available on Steam, he mentioned on Twitter, some days back.
