In an unexpected turn of events, Ichigo was rendered helpless in front of Yhwach. The hype surrounding his Bankai was cut short after the Almighty villain immediately destroyed the protagonist's sword.
Last chapter, Ichigo finally unveiled his Bankai called Tensa Zangetsu. However, he was stunned to see the sword broken as Yhwach did not even move an inch. The sinister villain told Ichigo that he realized how powerful his Bankai is that he needed to destroy it immediately by traversing through time.
Not only that, Ichigo suddenly found himself missing his left horn and was surprised to see it in Yhwach's hands. Yhwach suddenly appeared on his rear and sent him flying to the ground. The villain continued his barrage and Inoue had to step in to defend Ichigo from the brutal attacks. However, it was not enough as the enemy found a way to penetrate the defenses.
Yhwach once again went on with his "Change the Future" speech. What is different with him though, is instead of changing, he transforms the future. Ichigo, with his knees on the ground, is helpless and left with no idea on how to defeat the enemy that stands in front of him.
Fans over at Manga Helpers believe this is the best time for reinforcements to come. Ichigo and Uryuu's fathers, Isshin and Ryuken are expected to arrive just in the nick of time to buy some time for Ichigo. However, some believe that both guys would not be enough to oppose Yhwach. Hence, some fans believe that Aizen will be a huge part in this battle.
With his exceptional wit, Aizen will figure out Yhwach's weakness and how they can get through his future transformation. Ichigo's archrival will be left with no choice but to assist. He may even be able to help Ichigo figure out a way to regain his Bankai.
Meanwhile, fans over at Reddit believe it will take more than Isshin, Ryuken and Aizen to take on Yhwach as it will be a combined effort of every captain, Quincy and lieutenant. Here is a review of the previous chapter.
