"Game of Thrones" actor who played the role of the sadistic Warden of the North-- Ramsay Bolton - recently thanked all his fans for the support that they have shown throughout the season. The actor expressed his gratitude towards his loyal fans following the death of his character in the penultimate episode of the sixth season, "Battle of the Bastards."

The 31-year-old actor thanked his fans through his official Twitter account. He expressed his gratitude toward the people who supported him throughout his four year stint with the "Game of Thrones"and appreciated his performance as one of the most hated villains in the history of television, TIME reports.

"I'm very touched by all your lovely messages," Rheon wrote in his post on Twitter. "And very glad people can differentiate me from the character. Thank you."

Rheon is lucky in terms of fetching fans praise and appreciation. However, not all characters who die on the show receive the same treatment from the fans.

For example, there was another lading character who dies in the last episode that aired June 19, Sunday - Rickon Stark. After the episode aired, fans hopped on to their social media account to criticize and troll the actor for not running in a straight line to save himself from Ramsay Bolton's arrow attack.

Recently, HBO released six new set of pictures from the last episode in the "Game of Thrones" Season 6, titled "Winds of Winter. These new pictures hint at what fans may expect to see in the upcoming finale, The Telegraph reports.

By now, a lot of fans of the HBO's fantasy epic have speculated that the troubled villainess Cersei Lannister might meet her fate in the last episode. Even though the actress in question, Lena Headey, does not appear in any of the released photographs, it is still too early to say that she would not meet her end.

Meanwhile, the pictures show Davos, a character played by Liam Cunningham, brooding in the darkness, the Lannisters heading for a battle, the High Sparrow presiding over the trial of Loras Tyrell, Daenerys and Tyrion having a cosy chat and Bran Stark potentially looking into his future.
