"Dragon Ball Super" episode 49 spoilers roundup

The episode is titled "A Message From The Future! Goku Black Invades!"

"What's wrong, Trunks? I thought the future was at peace. It's under attack by someone who looks like me? Is he stronger than me?" reads the translation of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 49.

If we closely look at the preview trailer, the ending shows Goku and Black Goku staring at each other. It is possible that it could be the ending scene as the title of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 50, "Goku vs. Black," suggests that the battle between them will trickle in the fiftieth instalment.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 48 - official Fuji TV ratings

According to Gojiitaaf, episode 48 saw a dip in terms of ratings compared to the Future Trunks arc opening episode. Official Fuji TV ratings are only 6.1 percent.

However, with Goku and Black Goku's upcoming fight, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 49 might pull up the rating for the show.

Meanwhile, in the previous episode, Trunks is seen mourning the loss of Mai as Black Goku asks him if he is done with his goodbye. Trunks thinks that if Black Goku has not touched the Capsule Corporation building, it is possible that he is not aware of the time machine.

Trunks transforms and attacks Black Goku, however, the opponent is way too powerful. Meanwhile, Trunks throws his sword and launches a Masenko to distract Black Goku. He escapes and enters the time machine. Trunks travels into the past leaving Black confused.

Later, Trunks is unconscious in the time machine, and Pilaf thinks that it is an alien ship. Kid Trunks is confident that he can handle the situation but soon Bulma is called to look into the matter.
