Chris Brown has broken his silence over a lawsuit filed by his former manager Mike G for alleged assault and battery.

The singer took to Instagram shortly after news of his former manager's lawsuit was released. Brown uploaded a video clip on the said social media site where he ranted about the situation, E!News reported. He claimed that he fired Mike G for allegedly stealing from him. Brown also called out his former manager for filing the lawsuit since he claimed that Mike G was mad over being fired.

Brown also appears to be directly addressing Mike G in his Instagram video post. "You're stealing money, pal," he stated. The "Back to Sleep" crooner even described his former manager as "no longer existent" and claimed that it was one of the reasons why Mike G was mad. Despite Brown's claims that Mike G stole from him, he still wished his former manager luck. The musician sent his best wishes to Mike G in his Instagram video.

Mike G filed a lawsuit against Brown for allegedly punching him in the face and neck. In his lawsuit, he claimed that the incident happened in early May prior the singer's concert tour. He also stated that he needed to go to the emergency room after the alleged attack to have his injuries treated. Mike G also described the incident as "brutal" and mentioned in his lawsuit that Brown's rage was "drug-fueled."

The musician's former manager also claimed that Brown took to social media to boast about hitting him. He also alleged that the singer even threatened to do the same to the staff members working on his concert tour.

In a statement issued to Us Weekly magazine, Mike G's attorney Patty Glaser shared that they initially wanted to resolve the incident outside of the public's eye to avoid damaging the singer's reputation. However, he claimed that it became difficult. "Regrettably, as outlined in our complaint, Chris Brown has proven to be his own worst enemy," Glaser said.

In another statement, Glaser also claimed that Brown's accusations on Instagram were untrue. He stated that they plan to take legal action against the singer for defamation.

Meanwhile, Brown has recently collaborated with 50 Cent for the singer's latest track titled "No Romeo No Juliet." 50 Cent has also released the music video for the said track, as featured below:
