Apple Safari 10 Developer Beta for OS X Yosemite and El Captain is now available. This will help users test the update for MacOS Sierra without installing it, right now.
This will allow the developers to test the new version in a stable operating system and not just in the testing mode. San the requirement of full download, this Beta for OS X Yosemite and EI Captain promises to offer great usability.
The developer beta for the mentioned OS X can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center with limited number of functionalities. The Safari 10 beta for Yosemite and El Capitan will not include Apple Pay and Picture in picture support, Mac Rumors reported.
The functions that will be included in the version are, Redesigned Bookmarks and History views, Back closing spawned tabs, Web Inspector Timelines Tab and Site-specific zoom.
In the new bookmark sidebar, user can focus on a folder by double clicking. Autofill is improved apart from the reader, HTML5 and legacy Plug-ins are also included in the latest version. The beta version allows the user to respond to the recently closed tabs and back closing spawned tabs. Web inspector allows the user to debug. This helps in increasing ranking for frequently visited websites.
OS X El Capitan for Safari 10 can support Safari extensions which allow the developers to create extensions that can be sold via Mac App Store.
It was previously reported by WCC tech that the security feature that is there in Safari 10 for macOS Sierra will disable the Adobe Flash player. While the system's main focus would be HTML5, it will allow the user to enable Flash on a temporary basis. Better security is a key point of the new operating system.
Safari 10 Developer Beta for OS X Yosemite and El Captain is currently available only for the developers. The usual version for testers will be available in July following which the actual version will be made available by iOS.
It is to be noted that version 10.10 of the OS X Yosemite is currently available in the market. It is the server and desktop operating system released by Apple. El captain is available with its 10.11 version.
