The movie ''The Shadow Within'' will open in cinemas in 2016, but the release date is not yet fixed. This movie will mark the return of Lindsay Lohan after her long hiatus.
This upcoming movie will be directed by Tiago Mesquita and the screenplay is written by Mark Morgan. ''The Shadow Within'' also stars Charlotte Beckett, Gianni Capaldi, John Flanders, and Kristoffel Verdonck. This movie is produced by Ross Otterman and the co-producers are Dustin Fairbanks, D.J. Dodd, and Emanuele Moretti. This information was provided by Dread Central.
Beckett is the protagonist of the movie. The plot of the movie revolves around supernatural creatures. The name of the character of Beckett is Kristy Wolfe and she is a tough private investigator. Even though her forefathers were werewolves, she desperately tries to keep her secret hidden. Wolfe's main part begins when her uncle is brutally murdered and she starts the long journey to unravel the truth. On one hand she is aware that she will be the next victim, however her wolves' instincts keep saving her.
Meanwhile, it is expected that this movie will end the hiatus for Lohan. Her last movie ''The Canyons'' was released in 2013. According to The Guardian, this movie is expected to bring Lohan's career back on track and she might be chosen for more movie projects in the future. ''The Shadow Within'' will be a mysterious project for Lohan and the makers are hoping for good box office numbers for it.
The 23-year-old actor was charged with substance abuse and has come a long way after her fight and the process of going through rehabilitation. She has served terms in jail too. However, now the actress wants to leave her past in the past and embrace a shining future. She appeared in the West End play ''Speed-the-Plow'' in Oct. 2015.
"Anyone who turned up expecting Ms Lohan, making her stage debut at the age of 28, to exhibit spoilt-child celeb behavior - fluffing lines, or breaking parole, or racing off to rehab, or simply not turning up - was in for a disappointment," Euan Ferguson wrote about the behaviour of Lohan during the rehearsals of this upcoming movie.
"She was rather sweet, rather husky, rather wide-eyed - and rather good. She was, in fact, possibly the best thing about this show," Ferguson clarified further.
