Moving on to "The Last Ship" Season 3 episode 3. According to the Spoiler TV's description of "Shanzhai,attempts" Captain Tom Chandler and his crew members head to an Asian Dodge City to investigate and find answers to the new problem.
Meanwhile, the upcoming episode sheds light on Slattery and his crew members' situation. Slattery will find out why the pirates have taken them captive and attempt to escape.

In an interview at WonderCon in Los Angeles, "The Last Ship" actor Adam Baldwin revealed Season 3 will see the crew deal with hardships after being taken captive.
"We are taken captive, the reasons for which I can't go into but it gets pretty bloody," Baldwin said (via Showbizjunkies). "The hardships that we have to experience in this imprisonment are pretty profound. We get to get off the ship and get into some dirty, cold, wet environments, jungle atmosphere...darkness...blood. Not clean at all."
