If recent reports circulating online are to come true, Jackie Chan and Rajnikanth, two biggest film stars in Asia, will soon be seen sharing screen in a Malaysian film production. Apart from these two international actors, reportedly Sonam Kapoor, a top Indian actress, will also join the cast of the film "The Chini Saga" as its female lead.

The story of "The Chini Saga" will revolve around the legend of a dragon from the Chini Lake in Padang, Sinar Harian reported. This is not a dream or fiction, as all the three actors have been contacted for their roles in the upcoming film, the mega budget film's producer Mohd Rafeezi Mohd Zin aka Pveezi Zain told the media outlet, which reported the news first.

The producer further said that "The Chini Saga" will be filmed in the home countries of these actors. In addition to the three international stars, the cast of the upcoming will also include a number of Malaysian actors.

Incidentally, "The Chini Saga" was first announced four years ago. However, the project had to be stalled for some time owing to insufficient funds. The producers needed RM20 million (USD 4904316) to move forward with their dream project, Asian Times reported.

 Pveezi clained they have now managed to secure the requisite funds and the filming of "The Chini Sage" would commence in July. He added that the huge budget for the film was not an issue, as his camp was confident that the movie would do well, as the film will be screened in various countries, including European nations

He claimed both Jackie Chan and Rajnikanth have signed contracts to star in the upcoming film. However, the actors are yet to confirm this. Incidentally, Jackie Chan and Rajnikanth are Asia's highest paid actors, each charge over Rs 75 crore (USD 11,055,000) per film.

The producer revealed that "Chini Saga" will be filmed in Norway, India, China, Indonesia and Thailand. The Chini Saga" would feature 90 percent of CGI effects, besides 90 percent of the film will be in English, Pveezi said.
