"Thor: Ragnarok" will start shooting scenes in Australia next week. Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston will be reprising their roles as Thor and Loki, while additional characters will include Mark Ruffalo as Hulk and Cate Blanchett as a new villain whose character has not yet been disclosed.

The said movie will have a kick-off date in July 4, and from then on it is expected to film for almost a year. As its shooting date approaches, movie co-writer and director Taika Waititi has something to say about his upcoming movie project.

During his interview, Waititi was asked several things, one of which is the injection of his own style of humor into the upcoming Marvel movie. When asked if the movie would be reflecting his specific style of humor, the "Two Cars, One Night" director said that he has got to bring as much of himself to the movie and see how it will go, The Verge reported.

He also added he needed others' opinion to improve himself in order to survive. When asked if he has the freedom to be spontaneous on a big-studio run, CGI-heavy film, he revealed it has been a good experience for him so far. He pointed out positive effects of shooting the film, like being more organized. He commended his co-workers for being "really intelligent" and "amazing people" and for being "cool" and "smart storytellers."

Finally, when asked how important control is to him, the "Boy" director clarified he is not so particular about creative control over something he did not create himself. Since he is not the creator of "Thor," he jokingly asked how Stan Lee may feel about him doing a "Thor" film.

"Thor: Ragnarok" will launch in movie theaters by November 2017. It will be out as early as Oct. 27 in United Kingdom cinemas and will arrive by third week of November in the United States, Den of Geek reported.

As of the moment, the plot of the upcoming film has not yet been revealed. More details are expected to be revealed as the filming develops.
