"Batman: Return to Arkham" will feature its launch date delay for the consoles, as well as The chances that Rocksteady Studios will release "Batman: Arkham Knight Game of the Year" edition first.
It seems that gaming and comic book fans will have to wait a little longer as a staff member of Warner Bros. Games posted an announcement on the official forums that "Batman: Return to Arkham" will be delayed on its intended release date of July 29 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The reason being is that Virtous Games wanted more time to polish "Batman: Return to Arkham" to have a better video game experience for the gaming and comic book fans of the series. In addition, Warner Bros. has not revealed a release date window for the game, which slightly upsets everyone, but they assured them that they will give updates for its release date very soon.
There are several speculations for "Batman: Return to Arkham" release date as fans believed that it was all a ploy from Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Studios to have the game launch alongside the "Batman: Arkham VR" for the gaming platforms, Engadget reported.
"Batman: Return to Arkham" will feature two remastered versions of "Arkham games", namely "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman: Arkham City".The technology used in improving both "Arkham" games is the Unreal Engine 4 from Virtuos Studios, who is also responsible for the HD remasters of several games such as "Final Fantasy X|X-3 HD" and "Heavy Rain" PS4 remaster.
The HD remaster will also feature every DLC characters, costumes and game modes from the previous PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
With "Batman: Return to Arkham" being delayed, this leads to the question if Rocksteady and Warner Bros. will launch "Batman: Arkham Knight Game of the Year" Edition first in the consoles?
The official website of Amazon Germany posted the price details for the "Game of the Year" edition at EUR 49,99 ($56) along with a box art and will launch on the July 28 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
The game will also include all of its DLC packs from side stories such as "A Matte for Family", "Catwoman's Revenger" and "GCPD Lockdown" to several character skins, batmobile skins, AR Challenges and the "Season of Infamy" story mode expansion.
Gaming fans are hopeful to hear more details from both Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Studios on "Batman: Return to Arham" very soon.
