As soon as "Game of Thrones" season-ender revealed Tommen has committed suicide, questions on the fate of his beloved cat surfaced. Speculations suggest Ser Pounce did not survive the last episode as well, being caught up in the wildfire schemed by Cersei, which blew up and erased the whole Sept from King's Landing.

With obviously few appearances from the show, the cat still received attention from viewers from the on-set of Tommen's suicide and other characters' grim fate from the wildfire which killed Margaery, Loras, and the High Sparrow. While Dean-Charles Chapman mentioned during the airing of season 4 that Ser Pounce is a diva and have been taking a lot of sunbathing at that time, the poor cat may have been killed in the wildfire together with those trapped inside the Sept, Cinema Blend reported.

It can be recalled from the last episode that Margaery was able to somehow figure out Cersei's plan. While she tried to flee from the Sept, the High Sparrow did not allow, causing her to die with them during blast. With the inquiry of Ser Pounce's condition, Chapman revealed the cat may have probably got married and unfortunately got stuck in the Sept during the wildfire explosion.

In a separate interview, the teen actor had high hopes his character's beloved cat was not included in the blast's number of casualties. When asked about who may probably take care of him, Chapman simply answered there are a lot of staff around King's Landing who can take care of Ser Pounce, Hufftington Post reported.

The report also revealed the reason behind his cat's appearance in season 4. Appearing only once in the series, Ser Pounce was used to ease Chapman's nervousness in his first scene with Natalie Dormer. This also supports the reason why the cat has not appeared since the episode as it required a lot of effort from the part of trainers as well.

The next season of "Game of Thrones" is set to air on spring of 2017. For those who have not yet seen the season-ender trailer, watch the video clip below.
