Recently, rumors about the production of "Princess Diaries 3" circled around, wherein Anne Hathaway is currently in the middle of a discussion with Disney in terms of the story flow for the upcoming third sequel.

According to Huffington Post, an unnamed source revealed that Disney production "Is not in talks to make a third Princess Diaries film."

Although in the same publication stated that Tracking Board claimed Disney is working on the third instalment of "Princess Diaries" but they are just keeping the details completely under wraps, and Hathaway may or may not be part of the upcoming sequel anymore.

During Access Hollywood's interview with Julie Andrews back in 2012, she stated that she'd agree to be a part of "Princess Diaries 3" in a heartbeat, wherein the actress said "I would never say no because Disney's so wonderfully clever and inventive, "she added  "but I would think they'll stay with just the two because of Annie."

It was also stated that it is possible that Disney's going to create a reboot for the film in the future, and a new generation of Mia Thermopolis could be introduced. Meg Cabot, the author of the "Princess Diaries" novel, has published other "Princess Diaries" series that Disney could borrow for the future story line of "Princess Diaries 3."

On other news, with all the rumors about "Princess Diaries 3," Buzzfeed recently featured facts about the "Princess Diaries" movie that a lot of fans does not know about.

According to Hngn, Hathaway once decided to dress up like Mia Thermopolis out in public just so she could see how people would react and how differently would people treat her because of her look. Hathaway stated that the experience prepared her on how she's going to portray the role of a teenager who has a very low self-esteem.

The report also stated that 3 other actresses were considered and even auditioned for the part of Mia - Reese Witherspoon, Kirsten Dunst and Liv Tyler. The director of "Princess Diaries" Garry Marshall stated that Tyler almost got the part, but his granddaughters convinced him to go with Hathaway because of "her gorgeous princess like innocence and hair."
