Bethesda is rolling out the new Fallout 4 1.6 update that will include several more bug fixes and the Exit Save feature for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC gamers.

The recent Fallout 4 1.5.4 update was just released this week and it hasn't even been rolled out to the PS4 users. However, the new 1.6 patch is already confirmed by Bethesda themselves and PC gamers can try it out now through Steam in the Betas option.

Console gamers will have to wait as Bethesda said that the Fallout 4 1.6 update will still be required to be approved in order to be rolled out for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 "in the coming weeks," Gotta Be Mobile has learned. It has always been problematic on the console side as they are two completely different platforms.

Previously, the PS4 users had problems with the sound and texture files of Fallout 4 mods. They also had difficulty running the Far Harbor DLC with performance issues and the patch for users outside North America hasn't even been released yet.

Once the update does roll out across all platforms, it would add performance improvements and bug fixes. The Fallout 4 1.6 update will also include the useful ExitSave feature that will create a temporary save file whenever the player exits to the main menu, PlayStation Lifestyle reported.

Bethesda said that the new ExitSave feature will delete the temporary save file once it has been loaded and that it would also work for the gruesome Survival difficulty. It will be useful for those who often forget to save their progress throughout the game.

Fallout 4's 1.6 patch will also include several bug fixes and support for the upcoming Nuka World and Vault-Tec Workshop DLC. It also fixes several issues regarding mods and players becoming stuck in some missions such as "Mankind Redefined."

The new Fallout 4 1.6 update is currently available via Steam Beta for PC players. Xbox One players will have to stay put with their 1.5.4 update while PlayStation 4 users still have to wait for that update and the new one which is expected to roll out in the coming weeks.
