Lebron James, forward for the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers, scored his 263rd career All Star Game (ASG) point in this year's classic. This moved him into second place, past retired Michael Jordan.  

The 2015 ASG was the 64th edition in the history of the NBA. Each year this game takes place in the middle of the season.

During the game James scored 30 points in the East Conference's loss to the West Conference, 163-158. In fact, he was the highest scorer on his team, according to Yahoo.

Russell Westbrook scored 41 points, one point short of Wilt Chamberlain's record of 42 points (1962). Also, Westbrook's 27 points in the first half set an NBA record for ASG points in a single half.   

Westbrook won the MVP (Most Valuable Player) trophy for the game, which was awarded by  Adam Silver, commissioner of the NBA.  After the game, Westbrook said that he was honored that his scoring total was close to Chamberlain's and Jordan's (40) totals.  

In an interview after the game, James said that he was humbled by his career ASG points' passing Jordan's total, according to ESPN. He also expressed that he wishes to keep improving his basketball skills, and better comprehend "how I got here and why I'm here."

At the game's last buzzer, James had a total of 280 career ASG points. Now only Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers, at 278 career points, is ahead of James.   

The two NBA conferences set a few major records during the game. They scored a combined 321 points, and sank a total of 48 3-point shots.
