''Seven Deadly Sins'' is an extremely popular TV series based on the Japanese manga of the same name. As the fans know that the season 2 of this popular series has got its approval, Tomokazu Tokorowill has recently joined as the director of the series.

The storyline of the upcoming OVAs (Original video animation) is not yet confirmed. The fans are waiting with bated breath as the 4 episode OVA will be aired in August 2016. In season 1, the fans saw that the kingdom Leone represents a world were humans and other creatures have not been separated yet. The holy knights are in-charge to protect the kingdom Leone and their presence is feared by the mortal beings. According to Anime newsnetwork, the storyline of season 2 might be different from the first season.

Since in season 1, Queen Elizabeth didn't believe in this story of ''Seven Deadly Sins'' and had set foot to find the sins all by herself, season 2 might see a continuation of her ordeal. When she met her first sin in the form of a boy named Melodias, she didn't know what more to expect.

Nabaka Suzuki, the original creator of this series is all set to create magic with the second season and is creating a brand new story for this season. The viewers can expect more drama and fun in the upcoming series.

According to MyAnimeList, this season will start from Aug. 28, 2016 and will be aired till Sep. 18, 2016 and A-1 pictures are the studios for the series. Aniplex and Dentsu are the producers and this is one of the most popular anime shows on Japanese TV.

As per the latest update, MBS and TBS will air the series on Sundays at 17:00 and before the new season is aired, Tokyo MX has been airing the season 1 since Apr. 6, 2016. The season 2 is titled as ''Nanatsu no Taizai: Seisen no Shirushi'' (The Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of holy war).
