Followers of Kim Kardashian West are familiar with her legitimate BFF, Allison Azoff Statter. Statter's mom, Shelli Azoff, is also a good friend of Kris Jenner. The blonde has been seen with Kardashian West during special and meaningful events like baby showers and engagements.
Kardashian West has posted a new video on her app and website about her real BFF, PEOPLE reported. The clip had the TV personality and her closest friend talk about how they value each other.
"I know I always say 'my BFF,' and I definitely have lots of them," the actress-businesswoman said in the video. She added, "But Allison and I go way, way back"
Statter likewise expressed her love for the reality star, saying her friend is an amazing sister sans the blood. She feels so blessed and does not know life without her.
"It's also just really comforting and really nice to be on the same path in life too. We had our kids at the same time, we're like married with kids at the same time," Statter said in the clip. "It's rare and it's unique and I just feel so blessed that we have each other."
Statter does not like the limelight, Reveal reported. She and her BFF were neighbors in Beverly Hills. In his book, "Kim Kardashian," biographer Sean Smith wrote that Statter wants to keep a low profile, something the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star respects, so the duo is seldom pictured together even if they talk all the time.
Though "social media shy," there are already some facts about her that had been known to the public. For instance, her father, Irving Azoff is a music industry executive who managed many big names like Journey, Eagles and Christina Aguilera. He was the former Ticketmaster CEO and Live Nation chairman. Hence, Kardashian West is not Statter's first link to the entertainment space.
When they were in elementary school, Statter was bossy with friends. She also had better lunches that Kardashian West so loved because there were lots of Oreos and Cheetos. Since the actress was stuck to just healthy food, she has to ask from her BFF for some of her lunch.
Aside from that, Statter is Kardashian West's go-to-confidante, one that pops up in her mind whenever she is caught up by some big family drama. The reality TV star thinks of her before anyone, and Statter feels the same for her celebrity pal. Furthermore, she does not see her as someone who is famous because for her, she has not changed.
Statter never realized how popular Kardashian West is until Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to her son Mason. In the hospital, new moms left their rooms to catch a glimpse of her friend.
As Kardashian West's BFF, Statter knows a lot of her pal's secrets. However, she is good at keeping them and is determined not to tell anyone.
