After portraying the character of Margaery Tyrell in "Game of Thrones," there are rumors hinting that Natalie Dormer will be making a comeback in "Elementary" to reprise her role as Jamie Moriarty. Although it seems that the actress has a lot on her plate right now, the possibility may be high since her character was last seen during season 1 of the said TV series.
"Game of Thrones" fans were again left surprised as Dormer's character was killed off in the last season. Regarded by the shows' fans as an actress who portrayed Margaery Tyrell well, avid viewers of another TV series like "Elementary" are hoping the actress could come back in the upcoming season, Carter Matt reported.
Now that the 34-year old actress is out from the "Game of Thrones," some are speculating a reunion with "Elementary" is high plausible. During the first season, Moriarty decided to stray away from her plans after Sherlock Holmes intercepted her initial scheme. She then planned to make Sherlock fall in love with her, but she was soon arrested and put in prison, while Sherlock gained a broken heart.
The interrupted romance was one of the causes of sudden rumors linking a Holmes-Moriarty love team in the upcoming season. On top of these romance gossips surrounding the show, "Elementary" Executive Producer Rob Doherty revealed that Sherlock's move in dating Fiona last season was a big step for the character since he just had his heart broken by Moriarty, Entertainment Weekly reported.
Doherty added it would be difficult for Sherlock to regard Fiona as his "girlfriend" as of the moment, and advised fans to find themselves if the romance would blossom. Meanwhile, the last season revealed Morland Holmes taking over Moriarty's organization brought about by a deal made between Morland and Vikner. The pact was agreed by the former in exchange for the safety of his son and company.
More information is expected to be unveiled as season 6 approaches its air date. All speculations mentioned above are advised to be taken with a grain of salt.
