"Fifty Shades Darker" will not only be raunchier; it will also see the roles of Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) being reversed.

According to E! News, the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel will be different from the first installment because this time around Christian will become Anastasia's submissive.

In the first movie from the franchise, Christian introduced Anastasia into the world of BDSM. At first, the latter had a difficult time adjusting to this kind of lifestyle especially since it meant that sex had to be painful and stressful.

However, the two characters eventually fell in love so it became much more difficult for Christian to see Anastasia get hurt.

This is one of the reasons why in "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed," Christian won't have any problems becoming a submissive yet again.

Several years ago, Mrs. Robinson (Kim Basinger) introduced Christian into the world of BDSM. The young boy was still new to the idea so he also acted as the elder woman's submissive.

Later on, Christian became Leila Williams' (Bella Heathcote) dominant while they were still in a relationship with each other.

Meanwhile, both Mrs. Robinson and Leila will resurface in "Fifty Shades Darker" to try and destroy Christian's relationship with Anastasia.

Mrs. Robinson and Anastasia will first cross paths at the Grey family's masquerade ball.

The former will encourage the latter to break up with Christian by saying that they are not perfect for each other.

Leila, on the other hand, will also try to destroy Christian's relationship with Anastasia by pointing a gun at the latter.

Christian will get in between the two women and will eventually still choose his current girlfriend.

In fact, the onscreen couple will decide to tie the knot just like how they were portrayed in E.L. James' trilogy.

According to multiple sources, Christian and Anastasia will spend their honeymoon in Paris where they will enjoy bicycle rides and a visit to the Louvre museum.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated for release in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
