The much-awaited release date of "Lucid Dream," which stars JYJ's Park Yoo Chun, has been postponed. Latest reports claimed that the upcoming film, starring Sol Kyung Gu, Go Soo, and Kang Hye Jung, has been postponed inconclusively taking after the scandal involving Park.

"Lucid Dream," which was initially scheduled to hit theaters this fall, was put on hold after Park became a subject of a string of sexual assault allegations. In the film, Park will assume a pivotal role supporting the lead actor, Go Soo.

"He will play the role of the assistant to the main character," the C-JeS representative told the Korean media outlet Naver TV on April 9, according to KDramaStarz. "Saying any more about his role might be a spoiler so we don't plan on publishing his casting information either."

Helmed by Kim Joon Sung, "Lucid Dream" is a thriller-suspense film about a father, Dae-Ho (Go Soo), who finds clues in his lucid dreams toward discovering his kidnapped child. The filming for the movie began on April 6, 2015, and successfully wrapped up on June 29, 2015.

The film's distribution company, NEW, said that they are still discussing the new release date of the movie. The news comes a month after Park was accused of sexual assault by four women.

On June 4, a 24-year-old unnamed woman pressed charges against Park, claiming that the latter raped her in a bathroom of the club she works at. A CCTV footage, clothes, and underwear were reportedly presented as evidence.

Although the charges were later dropped by the accuser, three more women apparently followed suit with sexual assault charges against the singer-turned-actor. The second accuser claimed she was assaulted by Park on June 12 in much the same way as the first woman, inside a bathroom at the Gangnam bar.

"He said he couldn't hear me well and told me to come to the bathroom to talk," the second complainant said in an interview with local media, as quoted by The Kpop Herald. "I was hesitant on where to draw the line and then he started sexually assaulting me."

The actor's agency, C-Jes Entertainment, quickly denied all allegations, stating Park will resign from the entertainment business if charges are found to be true. The investigations regarding the four cases are currently underway.
