"Girl Meets World" season 3 will see Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong) finally proposing to Maya's (Sabrina Carpenter) mom Katy Hart (Cheryl Texiera).
According to Yahoo TV, Shawn will first ask his ex-girlfriend Angela (Trina McGee) for her blessing. Even though it's completely unnecessary, Shawn will still make sure that Angela is on board with his plans.
On her Twitter account, McGeen said that she's happy for the onscreen couple's decision to become engaged.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Angela gave Shawn her blessing to tie the knot with Maya's mother.
In season 2, Angela visited Shawn to give him her sign of approval. There really shouldn't be an issue because the former is already happily married to her husband. They are also starting their own family at the moment.
During the said episode, Angela asked Shawn if Katy is the one for him. Shawn couldn't give her a definite answer, but the former said that he should just let things flow naturally.
"Let what we had make you ready for something. Life knows what it's doing," Angela told Shawn.
Even though the episode featuring Shawn's proposal hasn't aired yet, it is already safe to assume that Katy will say yes. After all, the writers of the hit Disney Channel sitcom already confirmed that there will be a wedding in the upcoming episodes.
In other news, the upcoming episode of "Girl Meets World" season 3 will see Maya helping Lucas (Peyton Meyer) make a decision on who he should be with.
Even though it's clear that Lucas would've chosen Maya, the latter urged him to choose Riley instead.
As of late, it is unclear whether or not Lucas will really agree with Maya's plan, or if he will eventually convince her to be with him.
