The Spice Girls tease a comeback with GEM, for Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby) and Melanie Brown (Scary). The five-member English girl band now became three and released a video to celebrate their 20th anniversary with the 1996 hit "Wannabe," where they introduced the new name. The trio thanked their fans in the clip for their first hit, the highest-selling debut single by a female band in pop music history.

Spice Girls GEM are quite occupied to fret about the missing Spices. They wish their fans a happy 20th birthday as if all their followers were born simultaneously with the Spice Girls debut. They want to celebrate and party, they said in the video.

If that happens, the Spice Girls fans are all invited. The clip ends with an implication that there would be a big announcement coming.

The all-girl band had their last reunion in 2007, in "The Return of the Spice Girls." They performed together at the 2012 Olympics in London. On March 25, the Spice World stars reportedly planned on another highly-anticipated reunion tour to celebrate 20 years of Girl Power, according to US Weekly.

While a reunion is in the works, the girls have been keen on the idea except Victoria Adams Beckham (Posh Spice) whose hands are already full in business. Now, the 1990s sensation is nearly complete with Halliwell, Bunton and Brown already set for the reunion. However, Melanie Chisholm (Sporty) seems to join Beckham as she seems not onboard anymore.

Beckham cannot make it as she wants to focus on her family and fashion business. She is married to former footballer David Beckham, blessed with four children and is now a successful fashion designer.

There is a small chance Beckham will perform with her band mates again.Meanwhile, Chisholm did not completely rule out the possibility but she is currently occupied with her next album.

"I am keeping tight-lipped," Chisholm told The Sun on July 6, Wednesday. "Right now I am in the studio working on my own album, and that is my focus."
