Adrian Neville has been out of action since March 14 when he suffered a fractured ankle in a match against Chris Jericho. According to the latest rumors, Neville's return will be returning soon and he will be feuding with Jericho.

The Man That Gravity Forgot injured his ankle while doing a baseball slide and he was ruled out of action for two to three months. He did not undergo surgery and instead, he chose to let it heal in a cast and rehabilitation.

It has been close to four months since the injury but the WWE already has a plan for his return, PWMania reported. Neville will begin a feud with Jericho, the man he last wrestled before he got injured. There were even plans to have them feud before the injury.

The report noted that Neville vs. Jericho has been booked for the WWE's upcoming tour of Australia and New Zealand in August. According to The Inquisitr, it makes more sense for Neville to have a feud with Jericho.

The former NXT champion was rumored to be going after the Intercontinental championship before he got injured but he would not fit in a current storyline with The Miz. He could return this week on Raw and win the Battle Royal to become the No. 1 contender but facing Y2J is a better story.

Neville could be put over by Jericho and make him a bigger star. The WWE waited for Jericho to finish his feud with Dean Ambrose and the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

As of now, the first-ever Undisputed WWE champion has been stuck between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. The WWE Draft will also be a factor in the direction both stars as they need to be on the same show for a storyline to progress.

Nonetheless, Jericho is the perfect superstar to put over new wrestlers such as Neville. He is a future WWE Hall of Famer and he does not need to win titles or win feuds. The upcoming "New Era" storyline works perfectly as the dynamic between a veteran like Y2K faces off against a "New Era" star like Neville.
