New details and possible spoilers for "Arrow" season 5 will feature flashback scenes in Russia and Cody Rhodes teased a super villain role in the show.

"TMNT 2" star Stephen Amell teased another possible addition to the plot of "Arrow" season 5 as he told everyone during the "Heroes and Villains Fan Fest" event that the show will return from its "original roots" and that the main villain in the show will be the direct result of Oliver Queen/Green Arrow's actions in Star City, which calls back to a lot of things in season 1.

In addition, Amell added that "Russia" will be present in show, thus possibly confirming that Oliver's next journey will be in Russia and possibly meet the Bratva Russian mob, ScreenCrush reported. Executive Producer Wendy Mericle stated in the interview that remaining flashback setting could end up in Russia since Oliver made a promise to Taiana (Elysia Rotaru) to inform her family on what happened to her in the Lian Yu after the events of flashbacks in season 4.

Oliver Queen will likely encounter the Bratva during his travels in Russia, thus noting his connections and relationship with the group and its members. Co-executive producer Marc Guggenheim stated that remaining flashbacks will determine Olivers resolve and will introduced as the main the audiences saw at the beginning of season 1.

In other news, former WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes/Stardust is added to "Arrow" season 5 and will play a possible villain within the show.

Rhodes tweeted a photo of himself about to start working out on the gym with the #StarCityTraining and tagging the "Arrow" Twitter page.

Netizen quickly noticed the words highlighted on Rhodes' jacket which reads "Team Rhodes" and "Destroy Queen" underneath it. This is a conjunction of what Rhodes said in an interview that he and Amell will likely fight on set due to onscreen offscreen issues between the two.

The feud between Rhodes and Amell started on Twitter and it was an episode of WWE Raw last year that this two fought each other in the ring when Rhodes' persona Stardust confronted Amell. The two eventually had a wresting tag-team match in SummerSlam 2015 were in Amell along with Neville fought Stardust and King Wade Barrett and won.

WWE was supposed to have another rivalry storyline between the two, but Rhodes left the company due to frustrations he had on working as Stardust and the company did not allow him revert back to just Cody Rhodes, Screenrant reported.

For now, Rhodes is busy scheduling himself in the independent wrestling scene and preparing for his role in "Arrow" season 5.

"Arrow" will return on Oct. 5 on the CW Network.
