1. Get Pikachu without the starter options of Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur. Pikachu will appear as a fourth option if a player physically walks away from the area when the three options appear in the beginning of the game and returns trick five times.
2. Be in control of gyms to avoid quickly running out of coins. Upon reaching Level 5, a player has the option to either take over a gym or join a gym claimed for his or her team.
3. Do not place the best Pokémon at the gym. A player will get 10 new PokeCoins as long as he or she still has a Pokémon defending the gym.
4. Do not ignore any species of Pokémon in the wild that has been already captured. Duplicate Pokémon can be brought to Professor Willow and be traded for candy.
5. Do not use Incense unless the servers of the game are stable. The remaining 28 minutes will be lost if the servers down 2 minutes after the Incense is made active.
6. Do not bypass the system because it can lead to being banned by Niantic. Avoid getting some more Poké Balls without actually walking around.
7. Do not hatch eggs while in a moving vehicle, especially when driving. However, make progress while in a moving vehicle by selecting the PokeStop as soon as it appears on the screen and continuously swiping on it.
8. To avoid quickly draining the phone's battery, select Battery Saver Mode under Settings. Augmented Reality mode should also be turned off.
9. Do not waste the Lucky Eggs. Activate a Lucky Egg while near several Pokestops or use one with an Incense item simultaneously. To quickly gain XP, wait for a Pokemon to evolve before deploying a Lucky Egg.
10. Buy additional eggs in the store aside from the eggs given upon reaching Level 9.
Meanwhile, Niantic and The Pokémon Company recently released a joint statement to USA Today. The statement said "Pokémon Go" only accesses basic Google profile information, specifically the player's User ID and email address, and "no other Google account information is or has been accessed or collected."
