Rip Hamilton could make an NBA comeback and two of the teams he could join are the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.

Hamilton has joined the list of former NBA players attempting to return in the league next season. While talking to CBS Sports, the three-time All-Star shooting guard revealed he had his agent reaching out to several teams as he plans on training hard for the next 30 days to see if his body holds within the given time span.

"I'm giving myself thirty days where I am really hitting the gym." Hamilton said.

"I'm working on my game. I'm in the weight room. I'm running my two, three miles a day. And I'm trying to see if my body can hold up. If my body can hold up after these thirty days, I will be making a comeback."

Hamilton last played for the Chicago Bulls back in 2013, before suffering a freak foot injury in October 2014 that forced him to retire from the game. The 38-year-old shooting guard was prominently known for his role with the Detroit Pistons, where he won an NBA title in 2004.

While Hamilton admitted he is making an NBA return because of his kids, the veteran guard insisted winning another championship also motivates him. If Hamilton truly considers winning a title a factor for his potential return, the Cavs and Warriors could be possible hosts for a comeback.

The Warriors still have two available roster spots and would likely fill them out with veterans who can make an impact off the bench. Likewise, the Cavs are also looking to add pieces as replacements to key players they lost in free agency.

There is no telling what form Hamilton would have after his month-long preparation, but he can be a real boost off the bench if he could replicate his outputs during his stint with the Bulls, averaging 9.8 points on 42.9 percent shooting from the field, while playing 21.8 minutes per game.

Hamilton's age and form would surely be in play for his attempt to stage a NBA comeback. It remains to be seen whether the Cavs or the Warriors would have interest, but it would certainly be intriguing to see Hamilton play in the NBA again.
