Recently, tech giant Samsung announced the date around which it is planning to release its highly-anticipated next generation smartphone, Galaxy Note 7. The upcoming phablet is expected to be one of the most powerful and sleekest models ever created by the company.
It is indeed odd that the company decided to reveal the name of the phone ahead of it's announcement and without providing any key details. However, that does not make the unveiling of the phone any less exciting. In fact, a new set of Galaxy Note 7 photographs indicates that the smartphone is worth waiting for from every angle.
A French blog called NowhereElse fashion leaked photos of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 7. While it is not confirmed whether the photographs and the sources are authentic, the leaked pictured do match the previously leaked images of the device. Therefore, the odds are in the favor of the French blog.
The design of the upcoming phone featured in the leaked photographs resembles that of Samsung S7 edge as Note 7 is also rumored to have curved edges on either side of the 5.7-inch 2K Super AMOLED display. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to feature Samsung's special Note software, in addition to the typical TouchWiz launcher.
The phone is also expected to feature Stylus support, according to BGR. The next generation smartphone will run either on a Snapdragon 821 or Exynos 8893 processor, which would depend on the region it is being sold. In addition, it will have either 4 GB or 6 GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is speculated to possess a 12 MP rear camera and a 15 MP front camera. In addition to a large 3,600 mAh battery, the device would come with an integrated iris and fingerprint scanner. No IR blaster is spotted in the leaked picture, therefore, it is unlikely that it will make a return in this generation.
The phone will be officially launched on August 2, 2016. Apart from the specs discussed above, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to feature some other surprising elements as well that will be unveiled with the launch of the phone.
