"Pokemon Go" developer Niantic put in place measures to stop cheaters; however, cheaters have managed to go around such restrictions by employing ingenious ways.

Hatching Pokemon eggs require a certain amount of exercise, and a player would need to walk some distance from the house before the egg hatches. To keep the player honest, the game's GPS will know if the player is merely do stationary walking or driving a car; however, some cheaters have found a novel way to fool the GPS system, according to News.com.

"Pokemon Go" players fasten their smartphone in the body of their pet dog and let it ran around the backyard until the egg hatches, while other employ drones to do the walking for them. They could check its progress by mirroring the mobile device screen to a computer, plus this can also be used to look and capture Pokemons in the wild outdoors.

In Australia, some people are offering their vehicles to lazy Pokemon hunters. The rate per hour's drive is reportedly around $30, and charging the mobile device while travelling would cost the player an additional $5.

In addition, a start-up company called PokeWalk is offering to do walking for cheaters of the game. The company claims that they are giving "Pokemon Go" players the "freedom" to enjoy the game and not be pressured to actually walk

The company's rate varies by the amount of distance covered. A two kilometer walk playing "Pokemon Go" will cost cheaters $10, while a five and ten kilometer walk will cost $15 and $20 respectively. PokeWalk claims that they have a system that will ensure that the "Pokemon Go" cheaters will received the optimal benefit possible.

To level up much quicker, some players are battling with other players outside their own team. "Pokemon Go" players who use this strategy tend to accumulate more experience points, Pokemons and other items much faster. This practice, however, is not considered honest by many "Pokemon Go" players.
