"The Walking Dead" season 7 cast member Steven Yeun's character Glenn is rumored to not necessarily be Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) victim.

According to E! News, AMC just dropped a new promotional photo for "The Walking Dead" season 7 as part of its upcoming appearance at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con.

The photo showed all of the main characters of the hit AMC series bowing down in front of Negan.

More specifically, the photo shows Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Glenn, Michonne (Danai Gurira), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Aaron (Ross Marquand), Eugene (Josh McDermitt), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), Carl (Chandler Riggs) and Rosita (Christian Serratos).

Since the photo features almost all of the cast members from the series, it has become even more difficult for fans to guess which character was killed by Negan in the finale episode for season 6.

There are some ongoing rumors that Negan targeted two male characters. Both Glenn and Abraham were only seen during the filming for "The Walking Dead" season 7, episode 1. Since then, both characters were no longer spotted on set.

Meanwhile, "The Walking Dead" comic writer Robert Kirkman previously responded to the fan backlash they received at the end of season 6. At that time, fans expressed their disappointment over the fact that Negan's victim wasn't immediately revealed.

Kirkman promised the viewers that the premiere episode for season 7 will be a huge and memorable one.

"For some of you, that effort backfired and you're angry. And for that, I'm sorry. The only thing I can PROMISE you is that the season seven premiere is going to be awesome. And every minute of the season six finale was important and was setting something up that you probably won't see coming... Be afraid... Be very afraid. And excited!" he said.
