The beloved ladies of the long-running Freeform series has so far faced a lot of challenges in "Pretty Little Liars" Season 7. Latest news indicates that viewers will discover something big about the "Emison" couple in the show's upcoming episodes.
The seventh season of "Pretty Little Liars" has already shown viewers some of its exciting and suspense-filled storylines. Avid fans should brace themselves for more surprises, particularly in the series' upcoming season finale. Showrunner Marlene King has shared that huge revelations will be unveiled about Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Alison (Sasha Pieterse), TVLine reported.
King made the revelation during a Twitter Q&A session with fans held on Friday, July 15. However, she did not disclose other details about the Emily and Alison pairing, also known as "Emison." A plot speculation posted on the same news site pointed to the two characters' potential love confession for each other. Although, another speculation hinted of Alison admitting her involvement in Charlotte's death to Emily.
At this time, it is still unclear if the big secret reveal that showrunner King mentioned will push Emily and Alison closer together, or if it will pull them apart. However, writer Charlie Craig has teased in a June interview with E!Online that Mitchell's character will have multiple love interests in "Pretty Little Liars" Season 7. One of Emily's love interests will include Paige, who will be played by Lindsey Shaw.
Avid fans may recall that Emily and Paige previously had an on-and-off romantic relationship with each other during the first few seasons of the show. The last time viewers saw Shaw's characters was in Season 5 when she eventually moved away from Rosewood with her family.
Apart from Paige, Craig mentioned that Emily will have romantic interests with several other people. Although he teased that the said character may also face a few dangerous situations in Season 7, as indicated in the same report. It is also unsure if Emily will eventually end up in a relationship with Alison.
Fans of the series would need to tune into the show to discover what happens to beloved characters. "Pretty Little Liars" Season 7 airs every Tuesday on Freeform.
