Just days after the deadly Bastille Day attack in Nice, the filming of "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" has been resumed in Paris, France. Horrified and shaken due to the ugly incident, the entire crew was on a break of a few days.
The filming continues in Paris, where the "Fifty Shades of Grey" star Dakota Johnson, who plays meek Anastasia Steele in the erotic trilogy, was spotted on July 18, Monday. The 26-year-old actress was seen looking incredibly elegant as she sidled along in a stylish white floral dress with a belted waist which she toughened up with chunky platforms. She complimented her ensemble with over-sized sunglasses as she appeared to sport a minimal make-up, Daily Mail reported.
The cast has arrived in the city after filming a few steamy scenes in south of France. While filming one of such scenes, the actress was reportedly spotted topless along with her co-star Jamie Dornan.
According to the movie's production schedule, the lead pair will be filming in Paris Opera House very soon. Some dramatic scenes will be filmed outside Louvre Museum as well as in the city's beautiful streets.
Earlier, Johnson and Dornan were spotted at a medieval castle in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, France, a town near Nice, Entertainment Weekly reported. The pair looked vacation-ready as the actress looked stunning in a bright red sun dress, oversized dark sunglasses and flip-flop while her hunky co-star sported a white polo shirt, dark blue pants and grey sneakers.
The movie's producer Dana Brunetti took to Facebook during the late hours of July 14 to confirm that the film's cast and crew were safe. They were filming in Nice just hours before a truck drove through a crowd of people who were celebrating Bastille Day in the French city.
"Fifty Shades Darker" is set to hit the theatres on Feb. 10, 2017. The movie will show Anastasia Steel and Christian Grey overcome the obstacle in their relationship, thanks to the introduction of the latter's dangerous ex-submissive Leila Williams. While "Fifty Shades Darker" will end in the pair's engagement, "Fifty Shades Freed" will show the two adapting to their new way of life as a married couple.
