Disney just recently confirmed that a new instalment for their hit original movie "High School Musical" would be in production anytime soon. Fans are excited about this news because a lot of them are hoping that the old cast members such Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens would still be part of the upcoming "High School Musical 4."
Although the participation of both actors has not been confirmed just yet, it was reported that Disney's been searching for 5 new fresh faced actors for the lead roles in the upcoming "High School Musical 4."
Details about the upcoming "High School Musical 4" is completely under wraps, although a few weeks ago, a leaked script of the film surfaced which gave away some of the details about the new characters that would be introduced.
According to Ecumenical News, the script revealed the names of the characters and their roles in the film. The 5 new East High students would be named Peyton, Campbell, Tamara, Erin, Derek, and Nathalie.
Peyton is the Troy Bolton of "High School Musical 4," as he is the star athlete and one of the top soccer player in the school; Campbell would have the role of an athlete who's also a part of the drama club; Tamara plays the head cheer leader and the most popular girl in school; Erin is a soccer player who's only goal is to be the best soccer player in his school; Derek is also a soccer player but a kind hearted one, and Nathalie is also cheerleader and one of Erin's closest friend.
As of now, that's the only detail about "High School Musical 4," so there's a chance that Disney may change everything that's been leaked in order to keep the fans guessing.
In other news, a lot of fans have been petitioning for a Troy and Gabriella cameo in "High School Musical 4," and there's a chance that this may happen. According to Vine Report, even though Troy and Gabriella wouldn't be given a chance to reprise their roles in "High School Musical 4," there's still a chance for the fans to see them together again.
Reports suggest that Disney recently approved a partnership with YouTube's Bad Lip Reading. It is said that a film parody would be made and Bad Lip Reading's going to play around with some scenes and script lines from the original "High School Musical" films to make it a comedic masterpiece.
Though it's far from what the fans are really asking, the upcoming "High School Musical" parody will surely make fans feel nostalgic and will make them laugh out loud with all the comedic twists.
