Following Apple’s official release of the iOS 9.3.3, hacking group Pangu finds itself coping with only a pair of possible cracks to show.

The final version release of iOS 9.3.3 rendered the rumored iOS 9.3.2 release useless though some can still opt to hold off any upgrade once the update officially hits their iPhones, iPads or iPods. Doing so will place Apple device at risk as they hold off on the important security updates, Forbes reported.

Pressed for time, Pangu finds itself on the raw end as it tries to work on a possible jailbreak for iOS 9.3.3 or iOS 10. Right now, the two Apple operating systems are the ones who would need jailbreaks which the hacking group showed off at MOSET 2016 last July 1, according to Blasting News.

While Pangu continues to work on a working iOS jailbreak, individual such as Italian developer Luca Tedesco has been busy working on his own. He showed how he was able to jailbreak the beta versions of iOS 9.3.2 and 9.3.3 according to Value Walk. The problem is he never made his breakthrough public.

Like previous independent jailbreakers, the mileage carries a lot of doubt on whether their cracks on the Apple OS are authentic. Demonstrating their feat is credible but futile unless other people can prove their milestone.

All that aside, the wait for a working iOS jailbreak continues. Pangu and Taig remain the best sources for one though nothing close to handy jailbreak has come forward. The last breakthrough they had was for the iOS 9.3.1, something that has now felt like ages ago.

Pangu has been more aggressive by showcasing their cracks but their inability to release them has relegated them to nothing more than ambition. The hacking group will be at Black Hat USA 2016 once again though there is no certainty if they will touch on their iOS jailbreaking progress according to @vangelis_at_POC.

The event is set for July 30 to Aug. 4 in Las Vegas which should be an interesting one as the Apple jailbreaking community continues to hold out hope on a long overdue crack.
