Comic-Con 2016 started with much pomp on the first day in San Diego. Every year this annual entertainment expo witnesses great news and spoilers about TV series, movies and much more. The first day proved to be great, especially for the fans of "Suicide Squad." The upcoming DC comics movie is based on the antihero team.
According to BGR, the San Diego Comic-Con saw the revelation of a new toy figure of the movie, from Hot Toys. Hot Toys is the maker of action figures and the revelation of the "Suicide Squad" figure was made at their stall in San Diego Comic-Con.
The new toy figure has not been seen till date in the trailers of the movie or at any of the movie promotions. This has led the fans to speculate on the character and the role that it would play in the upcoming movie.
Well, before any further conclusion, be known that the character is none other than the Joker. And, yes, it is not that the nothing has been heard about him. It is just that a new figure of the mighty villain was revealed at the entertainment expo. The figure of the Joker was seen wearing Batman's costume.
However, io9 states that his pale white skin and capped teeth were kept intact to make it understandable that it is none other than the dreadful villain, the Joker, who has taken the disguise of the Caped Crusader.
This new Joker's figure has also raised many questions in the minds of the fans like how he got the Batman's costume; the reason for such a disguise and what led him to acquire the dress. So far, every toy that Hot Toy made has made an appearance in their respective movies. This has further fueled the speculations in the minds of fans.
Hot Toys is one such make, who stick the creation of movie characters strictly. And, now if they have come forth with Joker, in a new avatar, there must be some reason. And, the only reason that can be is that the Joker will make an appearance, wearing Batman's costume in the forthcoming movie.
The movie is set for an August 5, 2016 release in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.
