WWE Battleground kicks off this weekend at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC and people are looking forward to the main event. This will be the Triple-Threat match involving champion Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and former champion Roman Reigns.

Predictions are now out and as far as the main event is concerned, many are tying up the potential outcome to the recent WWE brand split. Reigns and Rollins will be on Raw while Ambrose was drafted to SmackDown.

According to Forbes, the best possible scenario would be to see Reigns reclaiming the title. It would be the perfect return angle aside from the rumored heel change expected to go down this Sunday.

Rollins role is another question at WWE Battleground. A lot may have to do on the persona the “Big Dog” will carry as he appears for the first time since being suspended. Reigns was suspended for 30 days for violating the WWE’s talent wellness policy believed to be tied up to Adderall, Wrestlingnews.co reported.

With Reigns back from his suspension, the WWE make make or break with Reigns' return to the top. Like it or not, the WWE may be doing it to keep their brand split intact. Of course there is always the option of seeing Rollins winning it too.

Technically, it will be two-against one with Ambrose facing tall odds. Another point worth considering is that Ambrose title-reign didn’t do much to improve the ratings so the WWE may be returning to its regular route.

While that remains to be seen, there are other matches that deserve following. There is that tag team match involving the Wyatts and the New Day, Sami Zayn meeting his former best friend Kevin Owens and The Miz staking his title against surprise opponent Darren Young.

Another big match is the one involving John Cena, Enzo Amore and Big Cass against the Club as well as the US title match pitting Rusev (with Lana) against Zack Ryder.

WWE Battleground kicks off this Sunday starting at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT from the Verizon Center with access and results coming from the WWE Network.
