Although Omanyte is a fairly rare Pokemon, it is most likely to be found in bodies of water. It is also a rock type, which put deserts and farmland in mind. Omanyte can also be found in 10km eggs.

Omastar is rarer than Omanyte and will be most likely found in the same locations. However, like all rare Pokemons, it tends to show up near areas crowded with Pokéstops. Thus, it is best to use Lure Modules on PokeStops to catch Omastar. Players can also hatch an Omanyte and make it evolve to Omastar.

Kabuto, on the other hand, can be found mostly on beaches, river, lakes and other water locations, but players' safest bet is on rocky beaches or caves near beaches, which is the same location where Ash Ketchum found Kabuto in the anime. Like the Omanyte, Kabuto also most commonly hatches out of the 10km eggs.

Kabutops is a rare Pokemon, which can be found in the aforementioned location of Kabuto. It is best to use Incense near bodies of water to increase chances of catching Kabutops.

Lastly, Aerodactyl tends to appear in land-bound areas, especially desert locations, farmland, or especially farms in the desert. It is also a flying type and there is a chance that it can be found in parks and forests. Aerodactyl can also be hatched from 10km eggs.
