After a much publicized rant against Papa John's Pizza Chain, Iggy Azalea has faced yet another setback in her budding career. According to Yahoo Style, T.I.'s protege has been the target of internet bashing over a picture of her circulating the internet in a not so admirable figure.
The "imperfect appearance" invited enough criticism to make her decide to shy away from her accounts. Before proceeding, Azalea is said to have addressed the situation by saying, "Just got back from a great vacation, came online and saw apparently it's shocking and unheard of to be a woman and have a cellulite."
"I just want to have peace and relaxation time without a perve with long distance lens hiding out taking pictures, everyone deserves peace." Her social media accounts will be temporarily run by her management, unless there is an IA signature.
According to Daily News, Azalea will not succumb to bullying. The bikini clad "Fancy" singer was vacationing with her NBA star boyfriend Nick Young when she was photographed sporting a red bikini, showing a rather imperfect butt with cellulites. Although she vowed to stay away from social media, she still addressed her 4 million followers saying that her management will take over her accounts. She also said, "It is too negative and draining."
Azalea received four nominations at the 57th Grammmy Awards mainly, Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Best Rap Album. The nominations did not sit well with critics, according to STLToday, the 24-year-old rapper is accused of cultural misappropriation.
A tweet from female rapper Azealia Banks confirmed some of the negative reactions by tweeting, "I just really want to know what your fascination with black women is. Why do you want to act like us. I need to Know. Why do you imitate us in such a way that I feel like you are actually make fun of us?"
