Police have arrested a man after he allegedly smacked Justin Timberlake at a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, on July 23, Saturday.

In video footage obtained by TMZ, Timberlake can be seen making his way through a crowd of golf spectators at the American Century Celebrity Pro-Am charity golf tourney when a stranger lays his hands on the side of the "Can't Fight the Feeling" hitmaker's face.

Timberlake then turns around and confronts the man by asking him, "Why would you do that?"

The 35-year-old walked away without saying another word but security guards were later spotted speaking to the man who attacked the musician.

The gossip website reported that Timberlake was unharmed and chose not to file a complaint against the man, but when Sheriff's deputies tried to escort the individual off the golf course, things got out of hand.

According to law enforcement sources, the man was an overzealous fan who wanted to "touch" the Grammy-winning artist and appeared to be under the heavy influence of alcohol. The slaphappy suspect was later placed under arrest for disorderly conduct after he refused to leave the premises.

Despite the incident, JT went on to have a good time at the charity event. The actor/singer shook a leg with actor Alfonso Ribeiro and Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry. The trio flailed their arms and legs around as they performed the Carlton dance, a famous dance move from "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," according to E!.

While their dance game was strong, I wish we could say the same about their golfing skills. Alfonso was the better player among the trio coming in 13 place, followed by Justin in at the 21st spot and Stephen tied for the 27th position.

Some of the other celebrities that participated in the tournament included the likes of Ray Romano, Charles Barkley and Aaron Rodgers.
