Customers in the United States can now buy the new Soft Gold OnePlus 3 which provides the new elegant color instead of the usual Graphite option.

The OnePlus 3 was launched with the standard Graphite option which was appealing to some but it lacked personality for other users. Now, the company is launching the new Soft Gold color option for customers in the U.S. and is reportedly planning to also launch it on other regions in the near future.

OnePlus announced that the gold hue on the new Soft Gold option is designed for a light and elegant look instead of being gaudy, Android Headlines has learned. Customers will also be glad to know that the Soft Gold OnePlus 3 will have the same price at $399 which means there is no additional cost for the new color option.

The U.S. will be the first market to be able to buy the new Soft Gold OnePlus 3 as Hong Kong, Canada and Europe will be receiving the new color option on August 1. It is unclear if there will be more regions OnePlus will sell the new color option to in the long run.

With the same price tag, the new option still has the same great specs of the Graphite colored variant. The Soft Gold OnePlus 3 still has a 5.5-inch FHD screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip with 6GB RAM, The BitBag reported.

It runs the OxygenOS which is based on the recent Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow version and has a dual nano SIM card slot for those who want to use two carriers at once. Another interesting spec of the Soft Gold OnePlus 3 is the 360-degree fingerprint sensor plus a 4K video recording capability thanks to the 13MP main camera.

Interested customers will have to buy the new Soft Gold OnePlus 3 as soon as its available as the company said that they may make the variant in limited stocks only. There could be scalpers who would gouge the price as soon as the quantities drop to low amounts or if the stocks are officially done being replenished.
