Pokemon GO cheats and tips are all over the internet weeks since its release. As Pokemon GO made its way on its global release, players are hard at work in catching all 151 Pokemons.
It is undeniable that Pokemon GO has become the biggest augmented reality smartphone game this year. In the game, catching a Pokemon also means looking for its specific candy, which is needed to power up your Pokémon and level up or evolve.
The main way to get candy in Pokemon GO is to catch as many Pokemon as possible. It is ok to catch the same Pokemon as this can be exchanged for candy to Professor Willow. To transfer a Pokémon for candy to Professor Willow, follow these steps:
Step 1: Click the Poké Ball in the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: Choose "Pokémon."
Step 3: Click on the duplicate Pokémon you would like to transfer. Make sure you select the low-leveled one.
Step 4: Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and hit "Transfer."
Step 5: Select "Yes."
Once transferred, players will get certain amount of species-related candy. Thus, if you exchange a Bulbasaur, you will get candy for Bulbasaur. Reports claimed that catching starter Pokemons are tougher.
Rare candy for rare Pokemons is also tough to get. However, rare Pokemons are reportedly tend to show up near PokeStops.
Another way to get more candy is to hatch eggs. There are two ways to obtain a Pokemon - catch a Pokemon through a Pokeball and hatch them from Pokemon eggs. All players can get or buy an egg to hatch. However, what Pokemon is inside is a matter of luck.
All players are equipped with an incubator that will help in hatching the egg. Once an egg has been placed in the incubator you will know how many kilometers you need to walk before the egg will hatch. However, you can hop in your car and drive around as the Pokemon GO app uses both the GPS and pedometer.
You can buy additional incubators in Pokemon GO store, or receive them as a reward for leveling up. With the exception of the infinite use incubator you start out with, they have three uses before they break. Having more eggs may prompt you to buy incubators.
Once you have an egg in your possession, follow these steps to hatch it and get candy:
Step 1: Click the Poké Ball in the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: Choose "Pokémon."
Step 3: Choose the "Eggs" tab.
Step 4: Select an egg.
Step 5: Choose "Start Incubation."
Step 6: Select an incubator.
