Episode 6 is expected to focus more on Elliot's case and finally reveal the character is still alive, contrary to what the PLLs believe. On the other hand, Ezra and Aria's relationship will face some awkwardness as Nicole, who is believed to be dead, tried to call up on Ezra's number.
The last episode left off when Ali was finally dismissed from the mental hospital she has been into since her late husband Elliot Rollins, who is really Archer Dunhill, had kept her inside the institution. Despite her being released from hospital, things were not pretty well for Ali as she had been discharged into the care of her Aunt Mary Drake, who she does not trust.
The events became more unfavorable for Ali when Jenna showed up and looked for "Elliot." Although Jenna's relationship with Elliot is still unknown as of this writing, there can probably be something going on that Ali is still not aware of.
Meanwhile, episode 5 already revealed who among the PLL couple are getting married. Speculations about Caleb proposing to Spencer surfaced more than a few times but the last episode revealed it was actually Ezra who is planning to propose to Aria.
Aria currently have a lot of going through her mind, Elliot Rollins who is still possibly alive and Ali's murder of Charlottle. It is expected in the next episode the PLLs will be confronted with a great danger, Carter Matt reported.
For Aria, another issue to ponder at was when she saw Nicole's number calling up Elliot. While Aria did not bother to tell the latter, Ezra was seen finally ready to move on from his relationship with Nicole, knowing she is already dead.
In the promo released for episode 6, "Wanted: Dead or Alive," it was seen that Hanna received a call from a male caller threatening her. The voice may seem distorted but the message being conveyed was warning her that next time they try to murder someone, they have to make sure the person is really dead.
This hints at the possibility that Elliot whom the PLLs killed and buried in episode 3, may still be alive. Although the succeeding scenes only featured the PLLs digging up the grave where they buried Elliot, the revelation will be unveiled in the actual episode.It is expected that Rosewood P.D. will be the ones finding out as they have been into the case since Elliot was reported to be murdered, The Futon Critic suggested.
