Elizabeth Banks, Sia, Aisha Tyler, Connie Britton, and a host of other stars have come together to record "Fight Song" in support of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.  The acapella cover of the Rachel Platten hit was released on the second day of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

According to entertainment site The Hollywood Reporter, Banks directed and produced the video with the help of Oscar-winning producer Bruce Cohen and video creator Mike Tompkins.  The video took inspiration from the "Pitch Perfect," a movie about an all-girl a cappella singing troupe whose sequel, "Pitch Perfect 2," Banks had also directed.

"Fight Song" is a favorite walk-out song of Clinton, USA Today noted.  So an all-star music video of the song was a good way to introduce Clinton on the second night of the convention when she accepted the Democratic Party's official nomination.

Aside from Banks, Sia, Tyler, and Britton, the video features many other celebrity faces.  These are Platten, Kristin Chenoweth, Jane Fonda, Mandy Moore, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Josh Lucas, Ian Somerholder, Alan Cumming, Julie Bowen, Idina Menzel, America Ferrera, Ben Platt, Ellen Greene, Chrissie Fit, Billy Porter, Nikki Read, Esther Dean, Eva Longoria, Hana Mae Lee, Garrett Clayton, Jaime King, John Michael Higgens, Kathy Najimy, Kelly Jackle, Mary McCormack, Mary-Louise Parker, Renee Fleming, Mike Thompkins, Shelley Regner, Rob Reiner, and TR Knight.

Other stars not in the video have also shown support for Clinton on the second day of the convention.  According to USA Today, Meryl Streep was there and sported a patriotic dress when she went to the podium, Andra Day performed an inspiring version of "Rise Up," and Demi Lovato spoke out and pledged her confidence in Clinton, among others.

Meanwhile, the Hollywood Reporter wrote, pop star Lady Gaga held an invitation-only concert in New Jersey.  The invites for the event, sponsored by George Norcross and the Senate Majority PAC, went out to all of the convention's delegates before Clinton accepted the nomination.

Clinton, a former first lady, United States senator, and secretary of state, is the first woman in the country's history to head a major party ticket.
