Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo is in the United States this summer and visited actor Jason Statham on his 49th birthday in Beverly Hill on July 26, Tuesday. The Real Madrid star is taking his time off following their Euro 2016 win. He is recovering from knee injury and will miss the commencement of the next season.
Ronaldo's fun summer continues his summer of fun with a visit to the Hollywood actor while taking an extended break, Mail Online reported. On July 10, his team had a victorious European Championship campaign with Portugal winning over France in the final. Ronaldo was on a stretcher during the first half, but proved expendable with his amazing style that brought his country through the game.
In the seven games of Portugal, the 31-year-old footballer scored three times. Michel Platini's record in the tournament history is nine goals. Ronaldo scored the winning penalty over Atletico in May during the Champions League final of Real Madrid.
The former Manchester United star is focusing on fitness in his extended break after he injured his knee. The injury limited his participation in the Euro 2016 final and causes him to miss the Real Madrid and Sevilla Super Cup on Aug. 9.
"I am completely ruled out for the ninth because my return date is the 10th," Ronaldo was quoted by Portuguese news agency Lusa. "There is no chance.'
Ronaldo will return to training with the Los Blancos following a showpiece match between winners of Europa League and Champions League. He intends to recover in time for the Aug. 21 La Liga season opener at Real Sociedad.
As for a Real Madrid renewed contract, the star athlete expressed many times that he wants it, and so does the club. However, many things can still happen.
The football megastar has also been recently spotted enjoying the night away at a nightclub in Ibiza, with an unknown beauty as they partied. He has been single following his split with model Irina Shayk. The pair spent the evening joking and laughing on the balcony of the club that overlooked the dance floor, The Sun reported.
The Euro 2016 star put on a black trilby hat while dancing with the ladies. Last month, he was also pictured spending time with Colombian model and Real Madrid fan Paula Suarez.
