Fans can expect a lot of episodes that touches on sibling rivalries and romantic second chances in the "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 saw the beginning of a possible rift between Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Maggie (Kelly McCreary). According to Ecumenical News, Meredith seemed to be getting used to the idea of her with Nathan Riggs, most especially after their romantic rendezvous.

However, the euphoria was short lived after she finds out that her sister Maggie also has feelings for Nathan, and thinks that the feeling is mutual between the two. Though the affair between Meredith and Nathan is low-key for now, knowing the nature of the TV series, others will soon to find out about their budding romance.

Kelly McCreary shared that she thinks her character in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 would be "genuinely crushed" should she find out about her sister's affair with her own love interest. She hinted that due to her intense feelings for Nathan Riggs, she may even go as far as dueling her sister for his affections. The actress questioned if Maggie will value his relationship with her sister over her "desires to find love."

Meanwhile, Christian Today reported that their half-sister Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) may play a role in the sister's impending feud. Scorsone shares that in contrast to McCreary, she thinks Maggie and Meredith will "try and accommodate one another," and take to heart the saying "sisters before misters." She continued on to reveal that Amelia would have no idea about either of the sisters' situations with Nathan Riggs, and thinks that it is "something really fun to explore" in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13.

In other news, a reconciliation may be in the works for April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13. Although the couple is in the middle of finalizing their divorce procedures, the estranged couple will most likely not see the last of each other. With the coming of their first-born child, April and Jackson will have to work together to parent the child. Drew revealed in an interview that her character and Jackson may find a way to "co-parent in a really beautiful way."
