Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has officially gone gold as the master disc was already finished and the game also approaches the 100K mark on preorders from both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.
Eidos has finished printing the gold master disc which means Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be on track for its release date which is August 23 across all the available platforms. The company has been ramping up its marketing efforts for the game as they hold interviews and release more gameplay trailers to entice players into buying the game at launch or pre-ordering it before the release date.
Players will be able to explore Prague and other locations in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided to figure out a way on how to stop the Illuminati which seeks to take advantage of the divide between augmented and non-augmented humans, VG247 has learned. The story picks up after the events of Human Revolution which was also a hit game several years ago.
Having the gold disc does ensure that the increasing pre orders will be provided at launch. As of this writing, VGChartz shows that there are already over 98,000 combined pre orders from PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners. The figure can still reach more than 100,000 as there are still several weeks before Deus Ex: Mankind Divided officially rolls out.
Those who have pre-ordered Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will have the Day One Edition which includes the "Covert Agent" DLC pack, The Inquistr reported. It will also include a digital comic book and a six-song sample soundtrack.
Fortunately, the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Day One Edition will still be available for those who did not preorder. Interested customers can still buy the special edition even after the official launch.
The Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Covert Agent DLC pack also includes an extra mission where Adam Jensen will track down the ones responsible for a Prague bombing. Players will also be able to choose between a Classic Gear, Intruder Gear or the Enforcer Gear set which has its own set of outfits and weapons suited for different playstyles.
Eidos will be launching the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC on August 23. Preorders for the already gold game will net the Day One Edition with the Covert Agent DLC pack.
