Nexus 6P, LG V20, HTC One M9, Galaxy Note 7, Nexus 9 and HTC One A9 will get the Android 7.0 Nougat update soon.

According to new reports, Android 7.0 Nougat will be released this August.

Upon release, the update will be available to select handsets such as Nexus devices and Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

Evan Blass has confirmed the launch of Android 7.0 Nougat and the arrival of its security patch. Also, Nexus 5 users will not get the new Android update.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be launched on Aug. 2. It is expected that the device will come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

According to a Reddit post, a user of Nexus 6P accidentally received Android 7.0 build NRD90M when the owner attempted to revert back to Android M from an Android N developer preview.

LG V20 is another device that will come with the Android 7.0 Nougat update upon release. It will be released in September this year and is the successor to the LG V10. The  LG V10 was launched in October 2015. The upcoming device will be the first to run Android 7.0 Nougat.

Nexus Marlin, Nexus Sailfish, Nexus 9, Nexus 6P and Nexus 6 will also get the Android 7.0 Nougat software update. Furthermore, the Pixel C tablet and the Nexus Player will receive the new update.

It is confirmed that HTC will roll out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to HTC 10, HTC One A9 and One M9 before the end of this year.

Now, users can reply straight from notifications and the interface will allow them view more app information than what they did earlier.
