The “Legion” expansion for “World of Warcraft” is set to come out on Aug. 30 but Blizzard is offering special access to customers who pre-order the expansion pack.

“World of Warcraft” is scheduled to get its “Legion” expansion on Aug. 30 which will feature the “Demon Hunter Class”.

Blizzard will, however, be offering a tempting incentive to customers who pre-order the “Legion” expansion. Gamers who pre-purchase the expansion can get early access to the “Demon Hunter Class” as early as Aug. 9, according to the official World of Warcraft site.

Aside from getting the chance to see what the new class has to offer, players will also get a controversial boost for their characters. According to Cinema Blend, pre-ordering players can have boost up the level of their characters to 100.

The character boost has drawn controversy with most calling it a ‘paid cheat’. It technically helps players bypass the normal playing experience on ‘World of Warcraft’ which would see their characters get to level 100. It should be noted as well that the offer is limited to those who are actual subscribers meaning free accounts don’t count.

Among the things to look out for with the “Demon Hunter Class” is that they specialize in using warglaives, daggers, fist-weapons and one-handed axes and swords. They only wear leather armor that lines them up to a damage dealer with high DPS.

Controversial as the alleged ‘paid cheat’ may be, Blizzard will still move forward with the pitch. The tactic is seen as a good one to help raise the stakes of the game which has been on the decline.

Aside from the early access to the “Demon Hunter Class” and the character level-up, gamers can also look forward to “Demon Invasion”. The event will be open to “World of Warcraft” players who get the chance to collect more loot by simply taking part in the event.

The “Demon Invasion” will, however, be only for a limited time. This means that players who participate will have the chance to collect goodies from the event from Aug. 9 until 30, the day when the “Legion” expansion is expected to debut.

Players who want to take Blizzard up on their offer will need to shell out $49.99 for the standard expansion. The digital deluxe edition costs a bit more at $69.99 over at Battle.net.
