HBO has launched a special website where fans of the network's hit drama series "Game of Thrones" (GoT) can vote for the best character to lead in the coming great wars.  The site, called the "GoT Party," has listed four candidates: Daenerys Targaryen, Jon Snow, Cersei Lannister, and Petyr Baelish.

The GOT Party site also listed running mates for the four rulers.  Daenerys, also known as the "Mother of Dragons" and "Breaker of Chains," will be ruling alongside Tyrion Lannister.  Snow, who is also the "Lord Commander of the Night's Watch" and "King and Warden of the North," has Lady Lyanna Mormont by his side.  Cersei, meanwhile, has Qyburn, and Lord Littlefinger has Sansa Stark.

As of this writing, over 20 million fans have already voted.  Jon Snow has the highest number of votes so far, with 53 percent of voters siding with him.  Daenerys comes next with 34 percent of the votes, then Petyr Baelish is third with 11 percent. Cersei, on the other hand, has 2.3 percent of the votes.

The voting will go on throughout the month of August and the winning Party nominee and running mate will be revealed on Sept. 1.

According to Time magazine, viewers have already compared GoT to the election cycle, so it is just fitting that HBO launched this voting site as an answer to the "political fatigue."  The magazine even cited the voting site's promotional video as aptly stating that "we demand strong leaders" who value sacrifice, who rose from nothing, and who won't think twice about breaking the game.

Aside from the name of the GoT candidates and their running mates, the site also listed a brief description of them as well as their respective "platforms."  For instance, Daenerys' platform includes freedom for the known world, female empowerment, unity between Essos and Westeros, the rebuilding of the dragon population, and the restoration of her divine right to the Seven Kingdoms.  Jon Snow, meanwhile, is fighting for northern sovereignty, for the Free Folk to be allowed to settle the Gift, for the rebuilding of the Night's Watch, and for the inheritance rights of illegitimate children, along with preparing for the Long Night.

Cersei, on the other hand, is all for bailing out the Iron Bank, bringing back trial by combat, separating Church and Crown, revising line of succession to the Iron Throne, and family advocacy.  Lastly, Sir Baelish's platform is all about the growth of small businesses, reduction of debt to the Iron Bank, maintaining diplomatic ties to the North, and innovation in transportation.
