Born Chris Bridges, Ludacris recently made it clear that the rumor claiming that much of "Furious 7" was filmed without the late Paul Walker is "a big misconception."

In an interview with Billboard, Ludacris said Walker completed "a good 80 percent of the film before he passed away."

"After that, it was very hard, very difficult," Ludacris said adding that they had to shut down production for a couple of months "in order to get everybody straight, the mourning process" and realized when they returned that Walker would have wanted them to finish the film and "carry on his legacy in the right way."

"That's what bonded us together and kept us strong and made us finish the film," said Ludacris, who as a musician collaborated with reappearing rapper Missy Elliott in "One Minute Man" in 2001.

"Furious 7" actor Dwayne Johnson has also talked about finishing the film after Walker's death.

Johnson told Mid-Day, "We did what I feel was the best thing, which was create a little bit of space, make a little bit of time and regroup, pull our wagons back and then move forward with how we're going to make the best movie possible, with the intention of respecting Paul and his legacy."

Meanwhile, "Furious 7" actor Vin Diesel has been rumored to play Black Bolt in another Marvel Studios movie "The Inhumans" after voicing Groot in "Guardians of the Galaxy." The rumors sparked in 2014 following Diesel's post on his Facebook account, which seemed to give a hint about his upcoming project with Marvel.
