The Golden State Warriors could be a potential destination for DeMarcus Cousins once his tenure with the Sacramento Kings is over.

The Warriors have yet to test their new-look super-team, but the team could already be looking at another piece to add to their All-Star-laden roster. According to Carlos Murillo of Blue Man Hoop, a fan site hosted by Sports Illustrated, Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins could be the next to take his talents to the Bay Area in the foreseeable future.

Murillo listed in his bold prediction five reasons why Cousins will be a Warrior once the All-Star center hits free agency in 2018. But among the factors that could play in Cousins' decision to join the Dubs, his relationship and time playing together with the likes of Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson in the international scene could help the Warriors land one of the most dominant big men in the league.

"DeMarcus Cousins will be a Golden State Warrior because he loves them," Murillo wrote.

"Over the last two summers, he has represented Team USA in international competition. He spent a lot of time with Curry and Thompson last season and Green and Durant this year. He can regularly be found working out or messing around with the Warriors players at practice."

It may not be too far-fetched for the Warriors to woo Cousins, who has been consistently linked to trade talks amid his rumored displeasure with the Kings in the past few seasons. Cousins, along with Warriors core roster of stars, would put the franchise in pole position to win NBA championships for years to come.

Surely, a change of scenery would help Cousins mature and a winning team like the Warriors, who pride themselves on selfless basketball, should be a perfect destination for the All-Star center.

Cousins' improved game would also see him fit nicely with the Warriors. His increasing ability to drain shots from downtown would greatly space the floor for the Warriors, forming what could be the most formidable lineup in the league.

Plenty of teams will have great interest in acquiring Cousins if he explores the free agency market in 2018. But If the Warriors are able to retain Durant and Curry for a couple more years, there is a great chance fans see Cousins playing alongside the "Splash Fam."
